Fishes of preys:
Here we shall consider that animal, which bite and are especially aggressively toned against the human. Fortunately, it is very small group of animals, and troubles with them can be shunned.
There are six fishes of preys meeting in a marine environment: barracuda, moray, major gruper, whale, shark and the sea snake. All of them have two blanket features: the human usually is not their bag and they seldom bite the human. It should reassure, but if they will do it, the consequences can be serious.
What is not recommended to do for the warning of incidents?
Do not float in places with major concentration of fishes of preys. If you suddenly have seen a whale underwater, it means, that you are already too close to it
The law in many countries protects the marine mammals. Try to learn more about the laws of approaching to marine animal and interaction with them.
Do not catch a fish and do not hunt for it. The injured fish attracts sharks and barracudas.
Do not attempt to catch of preys, provoking them to aggression.
Do not feed wild preys, such as barracuda, moray, shark, perch or whale.
Do not touch fish preys.
Do not dive alone.
Some sharks feed by sea-lion and by seals. If you will be similar to them on water or underwater, you can be received for their bag. The sting of a shark or whale - assassin can be fatal. The majority of attacks of sharks happens in shallow water. As a whole, the surface of water is the most dangerous place for a diver. To not have problems - do not provoke sharks. Nobody knows yet the exact causes of attacking people by major sharks, therefore divers should be cautious. Some places of sinkages are more dangerous, than other; therefore you should know a place of the sinkage.
PRICKS BY POISONOUS NEEDLES:
The reasons:
Usually it is pricks of a stonefish, snakefish, skate, conical snail or poisonous needlefish with injection of noxious agents.
Symptoms:
Stab wound with possible rests of needles
The local pain, is possible very strong
Shock
Probably unconsciousness or even a coma (if it is a prick by a tapered snail)
Actions:
To delete rests of needles; to disinfect wound
To warm a suffering place at the temperature of 50-60 degrees within one hour (hot, dry compresses, hot water)
To put Antihistamine Unguent, at complete consciousness - antihistaminic tablets
If it will be necessary to conduct cardiopulmonary reanimation
To supply in hospital
Further treatment:
A local anesthesia
Antihistaminic and corticoids drugs
Support of a circulation
Antibiotics
At the pricks by a stonefish you can use antiserum or even cobrazerum.
DAMAGE FROM POISONOUS PLANTS:
The reasons:
Contact to poisonous filaments or semen boxes of jellyfish, sea anemones or particular type of corals.
Symptoms:
Oddments of feelers or poisonous slime on a skin
Reddening, the bloating of a skin, is possible a blistering
Local pains, very strong are possible
Probably depressed case or loss of consciousness
Actions:
To delete rests of feelers and slime
To process by wet sand
To rinse out by a salt water (not fresh)
To process by spirit of ammonia or alcohol
To superimpose on a defective section antihistaminic Unguent, at complete consciousness you can give tablets of an antihistamine (it is possible to grease with fruit juice of papaya)
On necessity to take to the doctor or in hospital
Further treatment at strong pains, shock etc.
At removal of poisonous oddments from wounds, it is necessary to take care yourself to not receiving damages, for example, to dress gloves!
